Unfair: France Shoots Down Millionaire Tax

For those of you who studied history at all, you would know that our revolution and our constitution was influenced heavily by the French. As you may remember, France was our biggest ally during the revolutionary war, and French thinkers are what influenced our founding fathers.

Flash forward to present. France's Supreme Court has recently voted down a bill by Francois Hollande to put a large tax increase on millionaires, calling it unfair and unconstitutional. This is just like that major millionaire taxes Obama and the Democratic Party here have proposed and are trying to enact. So if it is unconstitutional in the country that influenced us (and happens to be much more socialist), wouldn't it be so here as we'll? It is very probably that Boehner and other republicans will reference this in future debates as evidence of its unfairness and it's unconstitutionality. So for now, wealthy business owners may breath easy!

Carney Confirms Attack on Guns

Jay Carney in a press conference that President Obama will be looking at implementing new gun laws. Specific examples given are banning "assault" weapons, high capacity clips, and gun show laws. Let us remember that the 2nd amendment was established to allow Americans to defend themselves and fight off oppression. In a time of invasion or civil war, "assault" weapons and high capacity clips are exactly what we would need. Only time will show what more will come from Obama's "assault" on the constitution.

Obama in Sandy Hook: Gun Control

Just seconds ago Barack Obama finished his speech at Sandy Hook, the site of the mass shooting this week in Newtown, CN. In this speech he said he and law enforcement would take "whatever steps possible" to prevent attacks like this from happening again. He noted this is the forth mass shooting during his presidency and it would not be tolerated. This is a direct assault at shootings in any form meaning that it is very possible that he could be making presidential orders this week banning or limiting the use of guns.
